The last post took a lot out of me.  Seeing Mr. Cohen in person caused a whirlwind of emotions that has taken me two and a half months to recover from (I was barely able to write the last post).  I am back now and ready to inform you of my going ons.  But not today.  It is kind of dark outside and I am very lazy.

I like Leonard Cohen.   Last weekend we went to see him in conversation with Philip Glass and John Rockwell.  It was some good stuff.  Anyway, a few hours after the interview/discussion we were walking around and passed a gallery that was housing Cohen’s artwork  (his first public showing of his visual art) and noticed a red carpet and a handful a media types.  Of course we waited around for a few minutes and the man himself showed up.

 That is all.

I tell you, Photo Booth is more addictive than Facebook. Yesterday was a reunion for old/current SEC teachers. The plan of action was a pub crawl in my neighborhood (location was not my idea, but I liked it). Since we were close by we stopped and had a couple of drinks at our place and of course a little picture taking. This is the result. Good people, good times.

Recently a new addition has been made to the old household. No babies or anything silly like that, it is a new Mac. I have to admit that the Photo Booth program is fun (you can see some of my amusement above). I always wondered why so many teenagers hung out at the Mac Store in the mall and now I know. This program offers me the opportunity to update my Facebook profile as much as I want. At the moment I try to limit it to six or seven new profile pictures per day. Life is a sweet fruit!

Today’s entry is a picture my dad sent me of the real Earltown in my home province.  The town consists of a store, a few houses and not much more.  Apparently they have moved into the goat cheese market, I can’t wait to see how that works out for them.

Today my voice disappeared.  I’m not sure where it went, but it has escaped.  Because of this development, I was sent home from school today.  I guess it is hard to teach without a voice.

Anyway, since I cannot communicate through speech, I figure I can through the internet.  Although this may not be good for my new Facebook addiction, it does mean two blog entries in one week.  Let the good times roll.

NOTE: Please don’t call to see how I am doing.  Although the thought would be appreciated, you will only get dead air from this end.

Here are a few pictures from our Chicago trip.  I am too tired to write captions for all of the pictures, so I will allow you to create your own.  This is how we will make the blog interactive.  Oh what fun! Enjoy.

It was a lot of fun.  We really enjoyed Chicago and can only assume that the residents of the city enjoyed us.

I know there hasn’t been a post in quite some time.  Please no harsh words, I’ve been beating myself up over this fact.  Actually, Shannon and I were in Chicago and just returned a few days ago.  This is the first shared picture of our trip.  We were walking along a sidewalk and found this swinging sign that blocked the sidewalk.  I’m scared to think about what they test on the sidewalk.  Probably just make up on animals.

You complete me (this statement is referring to the cup of coffee and not you the reader, although if you are reading this I am sure that you did your part to help shape the person I have become).
